    Long wait time, very long at night. . However If a booking has been made for things like the removal of stitches you can be in and out within an hour. Only food available is from vending machines. Mostly Friendly and reassuring staff.

    When my ob/gyn at North Gosford Dr Metawa wasn't interested in helping me, thank goodness the staff at Clinic 66 in Chatswood and the medical professionals at Gosford Hospital later that night were prepared to do so. Thank you for your efforts both in August 2016 and on this repeat occasion, a most saddening ordeal for myself and my entire family.I am grateful you offered me appropriate assistance which is more than what I encountered from a private specialist who prides himself on patient care. Despite this I remain most disappointed with the Gastroenterology Department and a recent appointment with one of the newer specialists which did not go in my opinion smoothly or to my complete satisfaction as a patient returning after 4 years for an automatic recall assessment. I did not appreciate being told that I did not need my procedure to be done unless suffering quite severe symptoms. How is this preventative medicine? A terrible loss to the Dept in the leaving of A/Prof Martin Veysey who would have assisted me without argument or judgement. Complete this with over an hour's wait beyond my scheduled appointment time, I was not pleased in the slightest and wondered why I even bothered to book this importand follow up. Is cost cutting now the reason for not having a patient given a recall colonoscopy? I will consider lodging a complaint very shortly and I look forward to a reply that actually makes sense.
